Working on our life size equipment takes coordination and certain skills. This incursion teaches children about the relationship between their bodies, senses and systems that allow them to carry out certain functions.
Children can explore the relationship between senses and movement by working on our unique equipment. They are required to use fine motor skills, force and finesse – something that takes time to learn and a realisation that our senses control our body movement.
Below are just a couple of examples of the Human Senses and Movement activities we bring out to schools
- Walk along our Antigravity Platform wearing powerful magnetic shoes. Feel the unusual repelling force on your feet and navigate your way along the platform.
- Spin and balance on our rotating Friction Board. Try it with a friend and double the fun.
- Play on our action/reaction game called Stomp-A-Stump. Look at how your eyes and ears work together to enable you to gain a great score.
Prices
School Groups and Holiday Programs:
- $13.50 per child plus GST
Minimum Charge:
- 1 Session- $650 plus GST
- 2 Sessions- $900 plus GST
Please note: A $1.00 per child travel surcharge may apply depending on your school’s location.
Session Duration:
Generally a session runs for two hours. A minimum of 1 ½ hours per session is required.
Session Times:
- 9:00 am – 11 am
- 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm (small groups only)
Note: These times can be varied to suit schools requirements.
