All our incursions use unique machines invented and built by Taskworks. Teaching children about the ideas behind our inventions and the need for us all to be inventors of machines or processes, is one of our favourite programs.
Below are just a couple of examples of the Inventions activities we bring out to schools
- Re-invent “Ernie” our full size robot by rebuilding him upside down! Build a full size, medium size or mini robot. Screwing his eyes, ears and arms into new positions and re purpose Ernie into your own special machine.
- Pull apart our Robot/Creature and work with teammates to invent a new creature. Use your imagination and construct something unique from the many parts that screw, bolt, pin and hinge together.
Prices
School Groups and Holiday Programs:
- $13.50 per child plus GST
Minimum Charge:
- 1 Session- $650 plus GST
- 2 Sessions- $900 plus GST
Please note: A $1.00 per child travel surcharge may apply depending on your school’s location.
Session Duration:
Generally a session runs for two hours. A minimum of 1 ½ hours per session is required.
Session Times:
- 9:00 am – 11 am
- 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm (small groups only)
Note: These times can be varied to suit schools requirements.
