The children look at our life size equipment and see simple machines in action. They learn about the history and development of simple machines and how they are used to make our lives easier.
- See the action/reaction of striking the lever on our High Striker to ring a bell.
- Watch how chains, sprockets, gears and levers raise children off the ground with our exciting Kid Lifter Machine.
- Look at the motion of the wheels and axles when pulling apart and reassembling our Go Kart.
- Observe the action of the chain, sprocket and gears assemblies when pulling apart our STEM Train.
Prices
School Groups and Holiday Programs:
- $13.50 per child plus GST
Minimum Charge:
- 1 Session- $650 plus GST
- 2 Sessions- $900 plus GST
Please note: A $1.00 per child travel surcharge may apply depending on your school’s location.
Session Duration:
Generally a session runs for two hours. A minimum of 1 ½ hours per session is required.
Session Times:
- 9:00 am – 11 am
- 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm (small groups only)
Note: These times can be varied to suit schools requirements.
