Taskworks incursions offer many ways to explore STEM. All our equipment is science based with our main focus being the Physical Sciences and Technology. We teach STEM with our own specifically designed an Australian built equipment. Children are immersed in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, maths and problem solving activities.
Below are just a couple of examples of the STEM activities we bring out to schools
- Compete against one another on Stomp- A-Stump, an action/ reaction game. Operated by pneumatics. This activity is not only great fun, it teaches children about control systems, design of equipment, materials and technology.
- Solve our Maths Puzzles. Spatial and problem solving skills are needed. Use creative thinking and persistence and work with a partner to work through puzzles which vary from easy to difficult.

Prices
School Groups and Holiday Programs:
- $13.50 per child plus GST
Minimum Charge:
- 1 Session- $650 plus GST
- 2 Sessions- $900 plus GST
Please note: A $1.00 per child travel surcharge may apply depending on your school’s location.
Session Duration:
Generally a session runs for two hours. A minimum of 1 ½ hours per session is required.
Session Times:
- 9:00 am – 11 am
- 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm (small groups only)
Note: These times can be varied to suit schools requirements.
