Teamwork and communication are essential when children work on all our life size equipment. Our staff instruct children on how to work together to pull apart our Train or Go Kart etc. Some parts are large and too heavy for a single student to handle, as such children are encouraged to work in groups and communicate together.
Below are just a couple of examples of the Teamwork and Communication incursions we bring out to schools
- Build our robot “Ernie”. Having difficulty in removing his head, his body or base – ask a friend to help. Our staff work first hand to assist and watch the children as they attempt to dismantle Ernie and then rebuild him in a different way. Children need to work together and communicate to get the job done. If they want him to be build in a different way it needs to be a team decision.
- Groups of four work together to operate our Kid Lifter. If the machine isn’t operating correctly then the children need to discuss how the machine works. They need to discuss the best way to coordinate their actions to make it operate and make it fun.
Prices
School Groups and Holiday Programs:
- $13.50 per child plus GST
Minimum Charge:
- 1 Session- $650 plus GST
- 2 Sessions- $900 plus GST
Please note: A $1.00 per child travel surcharge may apply depending on your school’s location.
Session Duration:
Generally a session runs for two hours. A minimum of 1 ½ hours per session is required.
Session Times:
- 9:00 am – 11 am
- 11:30 am – 1:30 pm
- 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm (small groups only)
Note: These times can be varied to suit schools requirements.
